After spending the weekend down in Matarangi with my friend Caro it came to my last afternoon which I had designated to shopping. Here are the spots that we liked the most.
Jaimie Boutique was our first stop after a delicious breakfast at Bambina in Ponsonby. This little boutique stocks some great labels eg. Vivienne Westwood and cool giftware. Next door to Jaimie lives a shoe store called Mei Mei. We moved away from Ponsonby to Grey Lynn where we stumbled into the very sleekly designed Black Box Boutique. Off to the city where we hit the flagship stores of New Zealands major fashion houses. Myhart offered some great local talent including Stolen Girlfriends Club, Lonely Hearts and Australia's own jewellery label Elke. Over the road we dropped into Karen Walker and Zambesi. For a small country New Zealand packs a serious punch when it comes to fashion and Auckland is a great spot to explore.
I LOVE stolen girlfriends club... I have one of their rings already! Silver and gold, I always get compliments on it, where can I find it in Melbourne? x Tina
