BERLIN...SHOPPING...EATING...LOOKING

...SHOPPING...Berlin is a really cool and interesting city...the shopping was pretty good especially in Mitte. However it is much more expensive than London and Paris which is not cool. My favorite shop is Apartment in Mitte. Some labels Apartment stocks are Rick Owens (we love), Maison Michel (amazing headwear), Common Project (sweet shoes) and Comme des Garcons. Apartment has a studio on top and the actual store is in the basement. The black interior suits the androgynous theme of the store. Apartment also has a sale store next door called Cash. I didn't find cash that great some cute vintage Balenciaga was about all. www.apartmentberlin.de (pretty sweet website too)... Wood Wood in Mitte is cooler if you're a boy - they stock labels such as Jeremy Scott, Linda Farrow and again Comme des Garcons ( like every store in Europe)!
Another thing I loved about shopping in Berlin was the adorable little gardens each shop had at the back of their shops, so pretty and green! The bikes were tres chic too...EATING ... So I got sick of eating salami and salad rolls and Eugene was sick of me complaining! We were walking down a street in Mitte and found this Vietnamese restaurant called Monsieur Vuong. OH MY GOD it was so delicious. I'm not one for Vietnamese food especially phos but MV is amazing. We went there a few times. The pho, springers and the chicken salad was to die. MV also has really fresh and moorish tea too (eg. peppermint tea and ginger/honey/Thai basil/ lime tea). Salivating.Monsieur Vuong -Alte Schönhauser Str. 46, 10119 Berlin-Mitte...LOOKING...Eugene and I did the Berlin walking tour. I highly recommend! It went for five hours but you learn sooooo much about Berlin's amazing but repressive history.
