We went and saw Olof from The Knife DJ at some club in East London (XOYO) on Friday. The music was tres good, but his costume was even better. A kind of Marie Antoinette meets Margiela. Dressed in all white including his face that was painted white he tapped his white court shoes that had Santa beard like tassels on the front. His pants were tight on the calf then went into pantaloons. His top/blouse/army jacket was voluminous on one sleeve, while on his head he wore a balding quiff a la Marie Antoinette cap (like the ones you wear swimming). And to top it off he had white elbow pads on and his pants seemed to be painted in white as well. There was also an old TV that had a slide show of nature photos and some pretty sweet laser lights too Olof's painted face stayed focused and formal till the end when he smiled a little and waved to his audience to say thanks!
